Here at Popshot we offers several different positions from which you can experience a firearm that include; Bench, standing, kneeling, and prone.  None of the firearms are teatherd so you will feel the full recoil upon your body.

Difficulty: Easy

Shooting from a seated position with the firearm supported by a sandbag or similar.

Difficulty: Moderate

With full weight of the rifile in your arms, you must hold in a steady position and relax you breathing.

Difficulty: Hard 

You will hold the full weight of the rifile, with one knee down and your extended are on the other, requires balance, then a calm breath.

Again the full weight from a lying position with the stomach touching the ground arms forward using the elbows to hold the rifile into position.

simple steps to reserve

  • Choose a Shooting Course - Choose from any other the listed courses below Try it now!
  • Select an Avaliable Date - Select an open day and time. 
  • Be Prepared - Dress comfortably, (If you want to shoot in a tank top swimsuit, that is fine) You may experience gunpowder flares from the muzzle, Hydrate bring water and or refreshments. The is a public water fountian on site. Expect the possiblility that your shooting time may be longer then you planned.
  • On the Day of the Experience - Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to you appointment, meet with official verify identification, sign range log, and waiver, and get situated .  A brief safety refresh will be given and then you will be ready to start
  • Weather - Does not affect cancellation* you will learn to compensate for wind  *(in the event of shooting range closure your refund will not be peanlized
  • Firing Sequences will be done in 15 minute intervals Try it now!

Frequently Asked Questions

Our Firearms are maintained and checked regularly for ware,  Hearing protection will be provided along with safety glasses. Participants will be monitored at all times, by both staff and range officers.  At all times when not shooting participants must stay behind the yellow line.

We provided a different shooting experience vs, a typical indoor shooting range, where the firearm is teatherd or held in place to reduce recoil.  We are the only to allow participants to shoot from compitition positions.

We utilize the Oahu Public Firing Complex at KOKO HEAD:
* Open Air Range, with covered firing line
* Safety Officers onsite.
* Free Parking-Lots of Open parking
* Nearby Bus stop for those who dont drive.
* Bathrooms and areas for picnic and barbeque

*Know and obey all range commands
*Unload, open the action, remove the magazine and bench all firearms during a cease fire
*Do NOT handle any firearms or stand at the firing line where firearms are present while others are down range during a cease fire
*Load no more than 5 rounds in the magazine
*No rapid or indiscriminate firing
*Shoot only at authorized targets. No plinking of objects on backstop berm or on the ground. Human silhouette targets are not allowed
*Wear eye and ear protection
*Children age 17 and below must be accompanied by an adult
*Children 9-12 years may fire .22 long rifle caliber only, with an adult standing next to and assisting the child
Children must wear eye and ear protection
*Children 8 years and younger are prohibited from using firearms
*No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed
